My Scrapbook Goals for 2013

Last year, my goal was to get published. I am happy to say that I was published in Scrapbook News and Review. I did not count on breaking my wrist in May, so I did not submit any other work.....

My crafty goals for 2013 are:

1. Find the rest of my mojo!!! It broke with my wrist last May and I have gotten some back. I need to seek out challenges, blog hops and classes to rejuvenate!! ****I do want to add that my mojo is coming back (yay) and I have great moments of inspiration, and others where I am completely stumped!!! I get a lot of comments on this goal! Last year I posted 3-5 times a week and this year I am 1-3 times a week....getting there!!

2. Finish Tyler's High School Album before his Graduation Party!!!

3. Reinvent my scrapbook style - I am feeling a little stale!

4. Seek out DT opportunities that match my talents and goals.

5. Conquer my fear of creating videos and learn how to edit!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I made this fun wreath with a little help from my friend!!

I took a wire frame from Hobby Lobby and tied ribbon on it.  There are three wire hearts within the frame.  This was tedious work and I got bored.  Thank goodness my friend Jenny finished tying ribbon for me!!!

I took my son's shoe box with a flip lid and cut a hole in the lid.  I painted it blue.  I cut out 24 2" circles from watercolor paper and glued four of them together (one on top of another) and glued them to the top of the box.  I painted over them.  Tanner is obsessed with Legos right now and this was perfect for his Valentine Box for school!!!

I am looking forward to Tanner's class party this afternoon!!

We typically don't go out on Valentine's night as every restaurant is busy.  Tonight instead of dinner, we will be going to high school conferences.

How do you celebrate Valentine's Day??
